At The Drug Company, your Privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains the practices and procedures we follow in collecting, using disclosing, and safeguarding your any personally identifiable information, including your personal health information ("Personal Information"). Each time you place an order with us, including the first one, you agree that we can collect, use store and share Personal Information according this Privacy Policy.

Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of your Personal Information

The Drug Company collects Personal Information from you in order to provide you with the Products and Services you have requested. In doing so, we may collect information in order to contact, information about your health or information in order to obtain payment. In addition to collecting personal information directly from you, we may collect information from medical practitioners and other agents who have the authority to act on your behalf. We may also collect information about your activities on the Site.

Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure of your Personal Information

In providing our Services to our Members and assisting you in obtaining Products from our network of referred international prescriptions service pharmacies and retailers ("referred retailers"), we will collect, use and disclose Personal Information with your consent for the following limited purposes:

  • to enable us to establish and maintain a relationship you;
  • to assist you in finding and communicating with referred retailers, including pharmacies, by providing them with the necessary information, including your Personal Information, required to fill and or to deliver your initial and subsequent orders;
  • to enable us to liaison with other service and product providers, including referred retailers, to provide you with the Services and Products you have requested;
  • to collect payment from you for Products and Services;
  • to manage and develop our business and operations, which may include gathering information through member surveys or other questionnaires;
  • to detect and prevent fraud, and to safeguard your interests, and those of The Drug Company;
  • to inform you of any updates or changes to our information, policies or practices;
  • to develop, enhance, market and provide you with our Products and Services or information about our Products and Services;
  • to assist us in determining which Products, Services or promotions, you may be interested in.
  • to meet legal and regulatory requirements, including to protect or defend a legal interest and in connection with actual or possible corporate reorganizations; and
  • to carry out any other purpose you have authorized, that is required or permitted by law or necessary in order to address an exceptional circumstances, such as a life-threatening medical emergency.

Your Personal Information within Our Network of Referred Retailers

Please note that referred retailers within our network may share information among themselves, as well as with The Drug Company, in order to promote the safe and effective filling of an order.

In all circumstances, we will not disclose more Personal Information than is necessary. We will also, whenever it is reasonable and practicable to do so, not share information with any third parties who are not bound by contract, law or have provided other reasonable assurances that they will respect the privacy and confidentiality of your Personal Information. However, in the event, of a third party breach of your privacy, the third party is accountable and responsible to you and The Drug Company is not.

We may not disclose your Personal information to any third parties when the sole purpose is to enable it to promote a new product or service to you. We may (unless you request us not to), send you information or promotional material about products, services and discounts directly or through an referred retailer. You can opt out of receiving such material at any time by submitting an online request to our Privacy Officer at privacyofficer@thedrugcompany.com. We may also use your ordering history to assist us in determining material or other health-related products that might be of interest to you. Such health-related ordering history may be used only by us or an IPS retainer.

Accuracy and Access to your Personal Information

We encourage you to keep your Personal Information as accurate, complete and up to date as possible. You may access, change, correct or update your Personal Information by emailing our Privacy Officer at privacyofficer@thedrugcompany.com or by calling or faxing our customer service line. Where appropriate, we may communicate these changes to third parties, including IPS retailers and pharmacies.

In order to obtain Products or Services from The Drug Company, you will be required to provide Personal Information, including personal health information. If you do not wish to provide such information or you withhold or omit particular details, it may limit the Products and Services we are able to provide to you. Additionally, in certain circumstances we may not be able to honor your request for a certain Product or Services. We will be pleased to explain your options regarding the Personal Information we have collected, used or disclosed and any consequences of refusing or withdrawing consent, and record any decision communicated to us. We may also maintain a file containing contact history that is used for customer inquiry purposes.

Protection and Storage of your Personal Information

The Drug Company will take reasonable measures to ensure that your Personal Information is protected with the appropriate physical, organizational and technical safeguards and security measures with respect to both our offices and information storage facilities, whether paper-based or electronic, to prevent any unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. All safety and security measures employed by The Drug Company are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the personal information.

We will retain your Personal Information as required by law, or for a period of time that is reasonably necessary for the purposes identified above.

Modifications and Notices

From time to time, it is our right to make reasonable changes to our privacy policy. We will post any changes to our privacy policy on The Drug Company's website. Any orders, including yours made after a change, will in all respects be governed by the latest version of the policy.
